We perform all works in connection with foundation construction, starting with earthworks, digging different ditches and making underlays, as well as foundation casting and installation of utilities in them.
We have great experience in the construction of two main foundation types:
Slab foundation – this type is mostly suitable for smaller private houses – though it is a more expensive solution, it also enables to build on a more unstable soil. Slab foundation is a single layer of concrete, which rests on a bed of crushed gravel. The foundation will be built above the freezing level, on the same plain with the soil or onto the ground.
Strip foundation – this is the cheapest and most common, but also the most labour-intensive type of foundation. If you are planning to build a basement under your house, strip foundation is also the only possible solution. Additionally, the bearing capacity of strip foundation is bigger than the one of slab foundation. The biggest threat for strip foundation is the uneven subsidence of the soil.
Concrete floors – we provide reinforced concrete floors to commercial buildings as well as private houses and outbuildings. We also offer fibre reinforced concrete floors – this is a type of concrete floor that does not require additional reinforcing. Using fibre reinforced concrete reduces significantly different reinforced concrete-associated risks and is also less time-consuming.
